Studied Mechanical Engineering for three years before transferring to Ashford University to complete a Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management. This has led me to working in Business management acting in the capacity of a non-design Mechanical Engineer where I conduct Operations Management & Program Management on all projects that are assigned to my facilities located in Ladysmith Va. and Texarkana, TX. In addition, I perform Technical writing and generate statements of work and design and engineer processes to set production at a rate agreeable to contract stipulations and deliverables. I manage all work and coordinate activity according to a ridged Defense Contracts that are generally broken into a base year with four options years available with severe time constraints on available funding limited to one calendar year use or loose, but retain delivery obligation. I also, Focus on every facet of project management with an emphasis on Lean principles and the DMAIC methodologies. I Continuously scrutinize each portion of our overall production process looking for efficiency gains through the establishment of key performance indicators and metric collection points. I also foster positive and informative communication between all stakeholders and first and second line maintenance personnel. My areas of responsibility are Texarkana, AR, Ladysmith, VA, and FT. Benning, GA.
