Update: About a year ago I had a shift into the medical industry, specifically surgery scheduling and I've never been happier- super supportive workplace in University of Michigan and a fantastic team of people I look forward to interacting with every day. Extremely happy with my future at Michigan Medicine! I've been a freelance 3d modeler and 3d printing enthusiast (rapid prototyping) since 09 when I saw a rapid shift in the landscape between traditional 3d modeling and how it was converging with physical models via 3d printing. Incorporating 3d modeling and 3d printing into the toy design, comic illustration, and other creative industries allows a working view of your projects and the ability to make changes on the fly. Rapid prototyping is the future for design and it is one of the strongest elements I bring as a designer. I've had experience with producing 3d models for illustrators at DC Comics to use for reference drawing when multiple angles in 3d space were needed on the fly, I've created content for Sony Playstation in their PS Home platform exploring social media interaction in a 3d avatar based format, and I continue to produce engaging content that mixes in my continued adoption of the latest techniques and emerging technologies.
