About Adam Gardnir

Event Producer / Program Manager In leadership roles, Adam has held Producer positions at Dubai World Expo 2020 for David Atkins Enterprises, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Brisbane Powerhouse, MELT Festival and White Night Melbourne. At each of these highly regarded cultural institutions, he produced several standout productions, manageing vast budgets and critical timelines while collaborating with artistic, technical, operational, marketing and ticketing teams. Specifically at World Expo 2020, which ran in 2021 and 2022, Adam managed and collaborated within a highly specialized programming team of local and international staff, who were collectively responsible for the deployment and delivery of over individual outdoor events, across the six-month expo, during the omicron outbreak and in close communications with hundreds of national cultural leadership teams and artistic companies. Back in Australia, he has served on the board of Melbourne's Midsumma Festival, where he commissioned the Australian premier of Gaybies by Dean Bryant at Melbourne Theatre Company's Southbank Theatre, and was Executive Director of Altitude Theatre, where he produced Australia's first mainstage production of Once On This Island, directed by Bree Langridge at La Boite Theatre, and sell-out seasons of OUT! and The Producers, both directed by Joseph Simons at Brisbane Powerhouse.
