About Adam Goldbloom

Hello, my name is Adam Tom Goldbloom and I am currently working as a Inside Technical Sales Specialist at SICK Sensor Intelligence. My educational journey includes earning an Advanced Diploma in Electromechanical Technology/Electromechanical Engineering Technology Co-op Stream from Humber College, which I completed from 2019 to 2023. More recently I am working towards my bachelors of technology in software engineering technology at McMaster university, with a projected graduation date of 2026. During my time at Humber College, I actively participated in various projects, the final and most important being the mechatronics capstone project sponsored by SICK Sensor Intelligence. This project focused on SICK Industry 4.0 technology and sensor interconnectivity, providing hands-on experience in cutting-edge automation technology. My professional experience includes roles such as information technology end-point support technician and lab monitor at Humber college. Moreover had a co-op opportunity as an Electro Mechanical Engineering Technologist at Humber College, where I contributed to the development of KUKA robotic training cells. More recently I have been working a inside sales position at SICK Sensor Intelligence, which as given me greater insight into the business side of the automation technology business. I have also been actively involved in community building, as I was the vice president and treasurer at the Richmond Hill Role Playing Club, where I managed club finances and led Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) sessions. I also volunteered as a member of Scouts Canada, working with children and fostering important life skills. In summary, I am a dedicated professional with a strong educational background and a diverse range of experiences, including technical and leadership roles. My involvement in industry-relevant projects underscores my commitment to my field.
