About Adam Goldstein
My goal professionally right now is to become a master carpenter and to expand my knowledge of building science. I am very passionate about sustainability, bio-construction, green building, and regenerative design. I have done plenty of remodeling but I enjoy building new high-performance and net-zero houses most from frame to finish. I have years of experience framing, doing finish work, siding, roofing, and flooring, as well as some electrical, plumbing, concrete, and masonry. But I don't add every job I have worked here. I have a background in organic farming, and permaculture is still a passion of mine. I decided to no longer pursue it as a career years ago as it is a very difficult way to earn a living. I see carpentry and farming as both real-world skills that connect us to our environments and allow for more self-sufficiency, independence, and sustainable ways of living when done right.
