About Adam Grainger

I adore working with children. I always thought my life would take me down a musical path, perhaps a career in a recording studio or doing live sound engineering for a venue or a working band. It seemed like the correct thing to do given my BA Hons in Sound Engineering and Design. Whilst I still do enjoy music and being a DJ at the odd birthday party here and there, I yearned for a more stable career. Being a naturally gifted peoples person, I then followed a path into sales, where I learnt to hone my over the phone selling skills and grasped what it was like working in a high pressure corporate environment. From there my life path took a quite severe bend in the road, as I veered off the sales course to follow my dream of becoming a professional actor. Whilst I enjoyed my time playing various roles in shows and independent movies, I was still looking for something that would satisfy my creativity, yet also give me enough money to live on happily. Thats when it happened. The spark that I had been missing instantly ignited when I started working with primary age children. Not only was I able to entertain and feed my own creative performer, but I really felt like I was bringing joy to others. I began working as a Mad Scientist, traveling around schools doing entertaining yet educational science shows and workshops. From here I then performed to over children, playing various characters touring in school shows and pantomimes. After this I got into the more educational side of working with children, freelancing for the countries largest primary school workshop provider, I was able to pick up various skills and techniques that not only entertained, but also educated. During this time and using all I had learnt from being a performer and an entertainer I founded Buzz Kids Parties. A company focused on delivering top quality children's entertainment for any occasion. Then the penny dropped. I left my educational facilitator role to pursue my own ambitions. I started The Education Factory in September 2019 and my mission will always be as follows; To enhance primary learning in a fun and engaging way, by putting quality at the heart of our beliefs and creating memories that will last forever. This is now at the core of everything I do. The Education Factory has been set up to inspire children's learning, using exciting shows and highly interactive and engaging workshops. We allow learning to flourish in a fun, and safe environment. Who ever said learning had to be boring!
