About Adam Groch

What I Do: I diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing a holistic approach that combines manual adjustments, therapeutic exercises, acupuncture, and patient education. Why I Do It: I get to see patients with a wide range of issues, rather than a specialist that treats only one region of the body. I often get to witness instant gratification in the form of immediate relief/improvement. I’m able to improve a musculoskeletal condition that a patient has had minimal success treating with other methods. I also get to hear really funny, interesting, and/or informative stories and perspectives on a daily basis. I’m proud that I receive gifts from patients for making them feel better! My Early Chiropractic Journey: I began my Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program at the University of Western States in 2012. In between classes during our 35-40 credit hour weeks, I assisted the Admissions office on campus, and served as VP of our local chapter of the Student Alliance for Integrative Medicine (SAIM), and Tech Support for the 5-school collaboration comprising SAIM. Following completion of my 4th semester, I took and passed Part I of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) board exams. I decided to then transfer to National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, IL, where I completed my chiropractic education, took and passed Parts 2-4 (and PT) of the NBCE board exams, and received my acupuncture certification. My clinical internship was completed at NUHS's campus in St Petersburg, FL. Areas of Expertise: Extremity Adjusting Acupuncture Dry Needling Outside of the Office: I love to be outdoors with my wife and dog. We love to jump in the canoe and paddle nearby lakes and rivers, long weekends at the beach, and camping in the mountains. We also like to hang out and watch TV with our cat. We really love Game of Thrones, The Office, and watching the Carolina Hurricanes or the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
