About Adam Heft

I am a senior geologist with WSP USA. I have conducted research in geological and geochemical fields since 1990, and have performed environmental investigations since 1993. My primary area of expertise involves the collection and analysis of samples for trace metals and volatile organic compounds in sediments, soils, waters, and indoor air. I have completed numerous Phase I environmental site assessments (ESAs) in compliance with the AAI and ASTM E 1527-21 (and older) standards. My experience includes Phase II environmental site assessments, UST/LUST investigations, baseline environmental assessments (BEAs), hydrogeological work plan implementation, investigations for vapor intrusion into dwellings and commercial buildings, and remediation of soil, groundwater, and indoor air. I have successfully obtained regulatory closures for numerous projects under both Part 213 and Part 201 of Michigan's NREPA. I meet the requirements of an Environmental Professional as defined in §312.10 of 40 CFR Part 312.
