About Adam Hingston

Master's of Architecture student at the University of Adelaide with a unique perspective shaped by extensive hospitality industry experience. My background in food & beverage operations provides deep insights into how people actually use spaces, understanding that drives my passion for residential and hospitality design. Having completed my Bachelor of Architectural Design, I'm now focused on sustainable, affordable housing innovation, particularly inspired by digital manufacturing pioneers like Facit Homes who are revolutionising construction through precision technology and environmental responsibility. My hospitality experience gives me valuable insights into user experience, operational efficiency, and service design that inform my architectural approach. I focus on creating spaces that are both functional and delightful for how people live and work. Currently seeking graduate architect opportunities where I can combine operational insights with emerging digital fabrication technologies to create sustainable, accessible housing solutions. I'm particularly interested in firms that push boundaries in design-to-manufacturing workflows and human-centred design. Ready to bring a fresh perspective that bridges exceptional user experience with innovative construction methods
