About Adam Holt

I have over 20 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. I also have six years production scheduling experience for an entire manufacturing facility. My experience includes managing large teams of 75 employees as well as small teams of 10 employees in three-shift and single-shift operations. My scheduling and inventory control experience includes ensuring product was manufactured through multi-departmental processes and delivered to the customer in a timely manner utilizing AS400/CAPP, Oracle, Soltice, and Microsoft Office inventory control and other scheduling programs. I have experience managing production with the Toyota Production System (TPS), Kanban, and Just-In-Time production systems, updating procedures and training employees with the ISO 9001 quality program, developing and implementing new employee and machine standard operating procedures, and implementing and maintaining the 5S program. I am also highly proficient with many different computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Citrix E-Time, ADP Payroll, and Opus Vision.In November of 2009 I earned my Associate’s degree in Business Management from AXIA College of University of Phoenix. My continued education has allowed me to become a more effective manager by applying new techniques and perspectives to the foundation of skills, experience and knowledge I have already gained from my work experience.Some of the highlights of my career include drastically reducing labor costs and completely eliminating OSHA recordable incidents through procedure, equipment, and personnel changes, increasing machine efficiencies and reducing scrap by effectively revising production scheduling, and cutting quality defects by over half by putting new production procedures and policies into place.
