About Adam Janssen

General Contractor -Real Estate Broker -Real Estate Investor Every stage of my career has revolved around real estate and construction. As the General Manager for King Construction's Ankeny office I'm part of a team who truly cares about providing a top quality product and exceeding customer expectations. King is a general contractor specializing in pre-engineered Butler metal buildings and Clopay overhead doors. We offer a range of services including roofing, concrete, steel erection, overhead doors, loading dock equipment and interior finishes. We're always looking to expand relationships with developers, sub-contractors and other GC's as we experience continued grow throughout central Iowa. I spent many years as a facilities manager overseeing the repairs and maintenance of corporate office space, including TI's and capital improvement projects, but I was always been drawn to real estate investing. Over the years I've owned a few rentals but have concentrated the majority of my time on fix and flips. After a few projects I realized it would make more sense for me to get my real estate license so I could negotiate my own deals and contracts. After 2 years as a licensed realtor I got my brokers license and opened Home Source Realty which I've operated for almost 10 years. I've remodeled and flipped several properties over the years and love the process of bringing a worn down property back to life. I equally enjoy helping buyers and sellers navigate the sometimes overwhelming real estate transaction process.
