I am a researcher focusing on the use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to support radiation therapy (RT) of cancer. As a PhD student I developed methods to convert MRI images to synthetic computed tomography (s-CT) images using MRI sequences with ultra-short echo time. These s-CTs were used for RT treatment planning and positron emission tomography (PET) attenuation correction. More recently, I have been working on motion-correction techniques for dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI to improve liver perfusion and function measurements in support of adaptive RT.
