As a security manager at Jacobs Entertainment, Inc, I oversee the operations and personnel management of the lodge and Gilpin casino. I have a secret security clearance and over 20 years of proven experience in the United States Army, where I received multiple awards for outstanding performance, professionalism, and merit. I also have an associate degree in criminal justice and police science from Purdue University Global. I have extensive knowledge and skills in risk assessment, physical security, security operations, team building, leadership, and training. I am certified in securities industry essentials by FINRA and verbal judo by The Verbal Judo Institute. I have successfully managed risks and protected assets, property, and equipment valued at over $10M while meeting and exceeding the expectations of senior leadership. I have also instructed and mentored countless soldiers and civilians in classroom and practical operation settings. My mission is to ensure the safety and security of the guests, employees, and facilities of Jacobs Entertainment, Inc.
