About Adam Keyes

I am a dedicated and visionary leader with two decades of success in higher education, a deep commitment to fostering student success and enhancing the vibrancy of campus life, and a talent for propelling institutional growth and ensuring stability. My academic journey began at Fitchburg State, where my involvement in student government and a meaningful mentorship with the dean laid the foundation for my career. In the years since, I’ve progressed through increasingly pivotal roles, including at the helm of Residential Life & Housing, Student Affairs, Strategic Initiatives, and Student Success & Campus Life. Facing a wide range of challenges in these diverse roles has broadened my capacity to lead and innovate. Most recently serving as Vice President of Student Success & Campus Life at Dean College, my strategic efforts focused on creating a dynamic environment that fostered student development and success across academic, athletic, and social spheres and prepares students for professional success. Initiatives under my leadership not only enhanced the student experience, but also contributed to the college’s financial health and community reputation. From renegotiating contracts to save funds and generate new revenue streams to integrating cutting-edge technology solutions for student support, my approach is always about delivering value and advancing the educational mission.
