About Adam Knapp

I recently finished the Full Stack Web Developer program at South Seattle college. The program covered HTML, CSS, JS, Vue, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Wordpress, and Bootstrap. I am currently learning angular on my own as well as refining my self taught Node skills. My previous job had me working as a Casting Lead for 84 hours most weeks overnight in a cold and outdated factory, something that I was not passionate about. If this experience taught me anything, it is that you can't be complacent where you are in life. If you want something, you need to actively pursue it, and that is what I had planned to do. As fate would have it, the Covid-19 pandemic closed the factory down and I was able to be retrained in a field that I am, and have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. I do not have any professional experience, but what I lack there, I make up for with the motivation to solve the problems that I am faced with, which I will, and to learn and keep on learning. My days are now filled with tutorial after tutorial on all the skills that I need to become successful doing what I love. I am far from as skilled as I would like to be, but my skills grow every single day.
