A key strength for any person is resilience in any tough situation. To be able to look at these types of situations and take them head on is a skill I feel only an ambitions few possess. A skill in turn I feel I possess within the professional and no professional world. Wether it’s been from working in new environments, dealing with others and managing with heavy work loads etc, a challenge is something I’m always ready to face head on. Always keeping myself motivated and confident, nothing good is easy so you give it your all every time. This skill has aided me in not just personal progress but reflecting my own skills onto others. I’ve had key experience in leading big teams of people, using different techniques and approaches to cater to a variety of different personalities and attitudes. Something that in a working world will only benefit any external situations faced going forward and to allow me to thrive and flourish in these roles. Learning skills not only in team lead roles I’ve taken in the past such as my time at Walkabout but now in the professional working world where only after 6 months of being with KN I feel confident enough to help train new Through experience comes the ability of initiative. It’s something I’ve had to learn the hard way, coming the long way round in life. Things don’t wait for you, you have to go and grab it. Not just in growth but also in situations where it needs someone to aid in controlling a situation. These skills allow me to look out side of the box in any given situation, bringing forward new and efficient ways to overcome any obstacles in front of me. All these ‘foundation’ skills only help me grow and gain even better knowledge in other departments of myself through reflection and learning. Most importantly these skills have grown confidence within myself, something that only proves vital. Through confidence I learn to communicate stronger, build on my ideas in a greater way and help myself connect with like minded individuals around me. Those that will only help me grow even more as a person in the long term. Always reminding myself, we never stop growing.
