About Adam Korynta

Mr. Korynta has participated in the development of several projects contracted through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC). Mr. Korynta has been a key developer on several features for the REGI/ROWCPS software, and support for the Corps Water Management Systems (CWMS) database access APIs. Mr. Korynta has led research in introducing new JavaFx user interface components as modern enhancements to the Java Swing controls, including implementing JavaScript features in Java desktop applications. Mr. Korynta has introduced and manages several DevOps software for developer workflows at RMA. He maintains the SonarQube static analysis tool for identifying source level vulnerabilities and best practices. Mr. Korynta has setup software build systems through GitHub and TeamCity using Maven and Ant technologies. Representative Projects Software Programmer; CWMS Back-End Systems; USACE-HEC. Key developer involved in migrating CWMS Java database libraries from the deprecated Object Relational Mapper (ORM) JPublisher to a modern third-party solution, Java Object Oriented Queries (jOOQ) in order to maintain compatibility with upgrades to Oracle Database. Developed Java integration test fixtures against the CWMS database to ensure compatibility with client software between schema versions. Developed an implementation of CWMS Data Access libraries for accessing the CWMS Data API REST service from CWMS clients utilizing the OkHttp third-party library. Provided maintenance and development on CWMS Data API REST endpoints. Updated CWMS Remote Method Invocation protocol (RMI) Servers to communicate over secure SSL/TLS encrypted in order to adhere to STIG requirements.
