About Adam MacDonald

I am a first-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in Finance. I have a passion for leadership development, making a difference in my community, and collaborating with others. I embodied these qualities before my career at Indiana University. In high school, I launched and founded a summer camp. The camp lasted 10 weeks and taught me very valuable skills including project management, being persistent, and teamwork. Also, I was accepted to participate in an internship at Mirador LLC, a global financial consulting and reporting firm. At Mirador I gained valuable corporate experience across several different departments. My drive and desire to learn and challenge myself are represented through these programs. Now at Indiana University, I continue to seek new opportunities to strengthen my finance background, along with my professional and personal leadership. One way that I am bettering my finance knowledge is through my involvement in the Financial Services Club. As a member, I am involved both in Investment Banking Deal Teams and Investment Management Mentor Groups where I am learning about the basics of Investment Banking and Investment Management. To keep developing my strengths of communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking, I hope seek an internship opportunity in the coming years. This summer, I will be at the London School of Economics, studying Financial Statement Analysis for Investment Banking and Asset Management. I also plan on taking online finance courses along with online IU courses in my free time. As a Sophomore, I plan to apply to one of the Kelley School of Business workshops.
