About Adam Malone

I believe that long term sustainable growth is centered on developing leaders and building culture. After 15 years in the cell phone industry, and 5 years in Supply Chain leadership functions - I'm even more convinced that Supply Chains need to focus on leaders & culture as much as expertise like procurement, planning and operations. The increasing velocity of change in SCM requires proactive efforts to prevent the development of toxic culture focused solely on results. Our cultures need inclusive, fast paced, results oriented, fun and established on a bedrock of accountability, but not blame. My focus on developing culture & growing leaders is not fluff - it goes hand in hand with stellar results like- Developing OEM relationships - Creating a performance management system to optimize annual spend & 7k employees - Leveraging demand planning to manage 20K skus with less than 1% backorder rate These results were achieved while building multiple new teams - which increased the scope of other Supply Chain professionals, brought new skills & talent into Supply Chain and created a performance management system to support new business efforts. My goal is to help other Supply Chain and Operations professionals increase the effectiveness of their eco-system by developing leadership skills and healthy culture.
