About Adam Pabarcus

I focus my practice on property tax appeals to help businesses and individuals find solutions to over-assessed property and excessive property tax liability. I help taxpayers with matters involving downtown office buildings, apartment buildings, warehouses, and high-end residential homes. Additionally, I have broad experience within business litigation, handling everything from trust litigation and breach of contract, to financial services litigation, to trade secrets and business torts. I help clients assess their challenges to find answers that fit their business goals. Throughout my career, I have always sought out the courtroom. I have appeared in several courts across the country on a variety of matters. When I help clients find solutions to their challenges, I rely on my experience from every stage of litigation, including trial. I also have an active pro bono practice. I represented a Michigan prisoner with his federal civil rights claim, handling a 2-day jury trial by myself. I first-chaired a hearing in the immigration court, winning asylum for our client. For another immigration matter, I was part of a trial team that successfully stopped the deportation of our client. Finally, I'm helping charitable organizations that provide low-income housing regain their exemption status from paying property taxes.
