I have worked in the Accounting Industry for over 10 years, starting my career at an Accounting and Advisory Firm in Frankston as a Graduate Accountant and Financial Planning Assistant, before joining the Highview family in 2016. I became CPA qualified in 2019, but I didn’t just complete the course, I graduated with Excellence maintaining a High Distinction average throughout my studies. I now also hold my Registered Tax Agent Licence and my Public Practice certificate. I have a contagious and ambitious nature about me that drives my desire to face new challenges each day at work. My career has grown leaps and bounds at Highview with my ‘born leader’ approach and mentoring provided by Partners, Darren Crowther and Nick McPhillips. My client portfolio has grown exponentially and Highview have provided all the support and guidance to best service their needs since being in my role. I have been given opportunities to grow personally and professionally – being trusted to work independently and autonomously for many years which has allowed me to grow and expand my knowledge and skills. This was certainly rewarded and recognised, with being named an Associate Partner at the Cranbourne office in July 2022. Working alongside my clients, whom most I’m lucky to call friends is the most rewarding part. I love to watch their businesses go from strength to strength, providing sound advice and direction along the way. My core strengths are in providing up-to-date advice and information about all things tax related for small and medium sized businesses. Small business start-up advice and structuring is where I thrive. I’m a forward thinker who enjoys strategic planning with businesses, ensuring personal goals align with business goals. Taxation advice and lawful minimisation, business technology selection and implementation, as well as Financial Reporting are my areas of expertise.
