I am a scientist interested in applying my expertise in nanomaterials to advance current technologies.My research at UT focuses on using carbon nanotubes (CNT) and CNT-hybrid materials in photovoltaics, hydrogen production, and transistors. At UVA I investigated novel organometallic hydrogen storage materials and advanced transistor fabrication methods.I also believe that my success is due to the opportunities available to me and am committed to continuing this cycle. Therefore, I used my position at UT to establish two outreach programs. One is designed to expose students from urban high schools to scientific research and provide an opportunity to work with scientists and engineers.
