About Adam Pratt

Adam is an educator and facilitator who chooses to live every day with courage. Adam works hard to see things from various lenses. He relentlessly moves toward the future and mentors those around him while learning from those who have previously been “in the trenches.” It is through a life of learning and mindfulness that he has committed his life’s work to empathy, serving others, and helping others achieve their goals. Adam’s success at several elementary schools and organizations demonstrates his versatility and adaptability. As an educator, Adam has achieved many successes, including mentoring teacher candidates and colleagues, providing exceptional programming for and meaningful relationships with his students, improving Grade 6 EQAO test scores, and being nominated for the “Service Excellence Award” with the UCDSB in 2017. His success as an educator and his dedication in coaching extra-curricular youth sports is highly regarded by his peers and families while leading his young athletes to personal bests, tournament finals, and championships. As a facilitator, Adam learned how to provide financial supports and programming for families who have children with intellectual disabilities while working collaboratively with his colleagues. Adam is a Queen’s University and University of Toronto graduate and a lifelong Canadian citizen. Despite his flaws and imperfections, Adam welcomes new opportunities.
