About Adam Robinson

With over 10 years of experience, I am a passionate and multi-faceted engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, delivering innovative solutions, and leading diverse teams. Principal Consultant at 42 Technology, a world-class product development and innovation consultancy. I lead projects across medical devices, clean technology, and FMCG, to provide clients with bespoke engineering services and strategic advice. My mission is to create positive impact through technology, and I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new domains, and collaborate with different stakeholders. In my current role, I manage multiple large projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from concept generation to prototype testing and beyond. This includes ISO13485-compliant medical devices and diagnostics, enhancing efficiency and launching new products for manufacturers, designing next-generation SCBA equipment for hazardous environments, and creating cutting edge electrolysis and fuel cells for clean energy applications. I use my expertise in mechanical engineering, CAD, analysis tools, thermodynamics, and TRIZ advanced problem-solving principles to deliver technical, commercial and company success. I also support the sales team in identifying new opportunities, developing IP strategy, conducting technology viability assessments, and facilitating concept generation workshops.
