Energetic and dedicated individual with 15+ years of combined experience in sales, marketing, enterprise technology, healthcare, fitness, and alternative sports. After some years working in the traditional clinical setting of physical therapy, I traded in my scrubs and I am now working as an Enrollment & Onboarding Specialist for Sword Health. Sword is a tech-enabled digital physical therapy company that has become the only holistic evidence based intervention proven to outperform traditional physical therapy. As someone who lives an active & health-conscious lifestyle, I recognize the value of using movement as a form of medicine, so everyday I am focused on Sword’s mission to free the world from pain. While most of my time is spent working in the "healing business," I also thrive as an experienced Western boxing & Muay Thai trainer with a demonstrated history of working in the "hurt business." For years, I have focused on my craft in the ring sport, actively fighting in local and regional promotions for Muay Thai & kickboxing, while thriving as a personal trainer—sport specific to combat athletes and hobbyists. With all of that being said, as a lifelong martial artist, I know how to be a disciplined student of any craft or skill set that I commit myself to studying, especially in the workplace — I am confident in my ability to take direction, learn at a fast pace, collaborate in an agile team environment, and perform under pressure. In the workplace, I adopt the same refinement process I use in my athletic pursuits to better myself and my performance, as well as approach my work ethic with a championship mindset to achieve my goals. “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation, and go to the grave with the song still in them.” As stated, “most men lead lives of quiet desperation” [translation: living an empty life caused by unfulfilling work, lack of leisure time, and misplaced values] “and go to the grave with the song still in them” [translation: regretting having not pursued their soul's adventure or life's deepest vitalities but instead money, possessions and accolades]. And with that being said by Henry David Thoreau — While I took a chance that few would ever take on themselves, my only regret is that I compromised my authenticity to be a lesser version of myself for far too long instead of standing on my truth and stepping into my power much sooner.
