About Adam Skinner

My name is Adam Skinner and I'm first and foremost, a father and a husband. I'm the Founder & Director of Instant Weather Inc, a company that helps families and businesses stay safe from tornadoes and severe weather. I've been a musician for most of my life and have co-founded several bands, such as; Atlantis Blueprint, Rustic Motif, and From The Ruins. I've had the pleasure of sharing the bill with such icons as The Tragically Hip, Thornley, Finger Eleven, The Trews, Aprilwine, David Wilcox, Colin James, Death Cab For Cutie, Bedouin Soundclash, Econoline Crush, The Northern Pikes, Grady, illScarlet, and hundreds of brilliant indie bands. I'm a professional music instructor and I've had the pleasure of teaching some incredible music students over the years of all ages and skill levels. I've developed some incredible relationships through teaching and have seen astonishing growth from a large majority of my roster. I'm a top-tier goalie in Barrie's Ball Hockey League and have played for 'The Wranglers' in Men's C, I am currently the starting goalie for 'The Renegades'(formerly Midnight Express) in B, and played a season with 'The Titans' in A. In a past life, I was crowned the #1 1on1 sniper in 'Quake 3 Fortress' after going undefeated; 11-0 in the Armistice Sniper Tournament. I casually played Quakelive, and Quake Champions until roughly 2018 when I decided my time was better spent focusing on what really matters to me.
