About Adam Soukal

I am a fintech founder and executive focused on working capital and supply chain finance. I co-founded and lead Roger, a Czech payment institution founded in 2013 and made it profitable since inception. In 2019, Komerční banka (Groupe Société Générale) acquired a minority stake in Roger, which was a key milestone in building a fintech that could meet bank-level regulatory, risk, and operational standards. In 2025, Roger was acquired by Orbian, a global leader in supply chain finance, and I joined Orbian’s senior management team as Managing Director. My work centers on building scalable fintech platforms that institutional capital is willing to fund, partner with, and acquire. Alongside my executive role, I serve as a Supervisory Board Member at Pillow, an insurtech company, contributing experience from regulated financial services and company building. Earlier in my career, I worked in transactions, restructuring, and corporate lending at PwC and Banco Santander in Prague and London.
