About Adam Steadman

It's strange how life can take so many different turns! I've spent the majority of my life in television, video production and writing. So it only makes sense that I'd become the General Manager of a professional football team! My most recent move into the world of pro sports is an exciting metamorphosis of what has already been a most interesting career and passion. Here's how it all began: I started my television career at the age of 15 when I took a "Production Assistant" job with CBS affiliate KTVQ television in Billings, MT. I spent the next several years working my way through the ranks as a news photographer and reporter. After leaving the corporate television broadcasting industry, I started a janitorial company that became very successful. I sold that company to capitalize other ventures which ultimately allowed me to purchase part of a production company. In June of 2007, I left A Step Ahead Productions and started Accent Media, Inc. At Accent Media, I've been fortunate enough to make some great connections and work on some incredible projects. Every day opens new opportunities to learn and grow as a writer, producer and internet media publisher- Two weeks after writing these words, another new door was opened for me when I was offered the GM position with the Billings Outlaws indoor football team. I'm looking forward to bringing my media and PR skills into play as we continue to build the Outlaws brand and deliver an exceptional fan experience. Oh. we'll also play some football- It's now 1 year later (October 2009) and I'm now an owner of the team and we had and INCREDIBLE season! National Champions when we won the IFL's United Bowl in August and gearing up for another great season in 2010- Who could have guessed what was next? The Billings Outlaws won the national United Bowl title again in 2010. We lost our arena to a tornado & were forced to shut down the team. Specialties: Writing, marketing, video editing, team management, virtual corporation development, public relations, and conflict resolution.
