About Adam Streeter

I realized recently that, even though I am not searching for another job, people routinely look at this profile, and I should update it more than once per decade.I love problem solving and learning about technology, and I have been very fortunate to have a career in Information Technology that has allowed me to do both.I started as a do-everything IT guy consulting and as "the IT guy" at a startup, and then specialized more in networking and infrastructure over time. The last seven years, I have enjoyed the opportunity to lead a number of teams and develop my coaching and leadership skills. As a problem solving geek, I had a blast learning and applying Six Sigma tools on the way to my Green Belt, and I use them every chance that I get.Tangential to my day-job, I nerd out on Wireshark packet capture analysis, and I recently released my own e-book and video course to teach others about this.Amazon E Book: Course: of work, my life is my family, and I am, in my biased opinion, the luckiest man in the world. I love spending time with my wife and children, and I am going to wrap up this summary now to do exactly that.One other note: 2019 was my year of "best in 10 years" physical health and fitness, in which I employed problem solving techniques to improve and stabilize my own fitness. This was an exciting project for me, and I have enjoyed extending it through the challenges that 2020 brought.
