About Adam Strishock

Hello,My name is Adam Strishock and here is a little bit about me. I began finishing my degree in Software Engineering in June of 2021. I am a father to three year old twin girls, and I always strive to better myself for my family. My current position is at Kurt Johnson Auto Sales as the Marketing Manager. My responsibilities include managing their social media accounts and updating their website using WordPress. I also use multiple programming applications for inventory, leads, and accounting purposes. I am a hard worker, reliable, passionate, and quick learner. If there is something I am unsure of or don't understand, I put forth as much effort as possible to learn it quickly and correctly. Prior to furthering my formal education, I began teaching myself Python. I read multiple textbooks and took multiple online courses in order to learn as much as I could. I then decided I wanted to go back to school to finish my degree in Software Engineering. Since starting at WGU, I have achieved the Google IT Support certificate, CompTIA A+ certificate, CompTIA Project+ certificate, AWS Cloud Practitioner and the ITIL certificate. I have also used multiple languages such as SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, Python, and Java. I look forward to finishing my degree, as I will learn much more.
