About Adam Ward

With a life-long dream of managing a team of mechatronics designers, I am well on my way. I believe that a diverse skillset is crucial for success, and I always embrace a new challenge. From a high level, the development of automated products can be broken down into four basic steps. They include design, manufacture, program, and test. I have 16 years of combined design and manufacturing experience. I am currently practicing the programming and testing. Because the technology of this world is forever evolving at an ever increasing rate, these steps can never be mastered. However, through continuous learning, the steps can be used effectively. That is why I push myself to be a life-long learner. My most recent assignment is to fill the interim position, in a supervisory role, as acting Test Engineer at a company which designs power steering gear for large vehicles. In this position I coordinate incoming tests, design test-systems, assign projects, streamline processes, train staff, negotiate needed building-maintenance and IT support, and build employee morale.
