A Leader with 6+ years of experience with developing and inspiring people, creating an engaging environment for my team, and maintaining a supportive experience for clients. Combining Anishinaabe teachings with modern business practices. Amazing personal, communication, and organizational skills allows me to understand, target, and improve KPI metrics; hire, coach, and promote members of my team; and excel at resolving client opportunities with both internal and external teams. A team player, great business acumen, and able to evolve at the speed of human needs. These past couple years I've worked directly with Best Buy's Director of Diversity and Inclusion, and a team of other Indigenous people across the country. Together we taught the company of modern-day Indigenous issues that is being experienced on Turtle Island and withing Canada. We shared and wrote articles about the teachings from each of our backgrounds. We presented live for over 300 people from coast to coast. This was a first for Best Buy, and I helped carve a path for future generations to have knowledge and created a more inclusive environment for Indigenous employees and clients.
