About Adam Witthuhn

In his past 12 years at Faith Technologies, an electrical and engineering design contractor based in Wisconsin, Adam has transitioned from initial responsibilities as a drafter using AutoCAD, to self-learning Revit. His work was instrumental in Faith’s painstaking process of transitioning from 2D AutoCAD to VDC/BIM in Revit. Adam took the initiative on all the necessary Revit components, from modifying the electrical settings to match Faith’s company standards, to building the custom family library so the elements matched the company’s engineering, manufacturing and construction needs. Once that challenge was met, he set out to speed up many of the time-consuming, repetitive tasks. He taught himself to program, then investigated the Revit API and created to-date more than 75 tools that together have saved the company more than $100K in labor. In early 2018, Adam, earned the status of Revit MEP Electrical Certified Professional.
