About Adanna Watson

Being an Assistant Professor is exactly as comfortable as what what you'd think it's like. I'm the colleague at work that everyone wants to know but nobody wants to be. If you want to get something done, you come to me - everyone knows that! Yet sitting at the same desk and doing the same thing every waking day is something that’s very melancholy. Luckily, I'm obsessed with growth and learning new things. It brings such a genuine joy to my heart to take the sudden plunges of faith in new directions every now and then in life. Work is no different. There aren't many things that you can learn sitting at a place after while and it takes real courage to step out of your comfort zone and into the abyss! When I'm not at work or in denial about having a social life, I'm at home reading or writing. These hobbies have helped me to really understand my purpose. My passion for growth and versatility has made me thirst for more. It has made me insatiable. And I always look for more opportunities which will give me an exposure to this yearning that I have. And for this, I am very grateful.
