About Added Kina

I love solving core challenges using modern technology and teamwork. I help organizations by designing reliable software, supporting teams, and recognizing customer needs.Helping others has always been a passion of mine. From serving as my class’s anti-bullying and student council representative in primary school, to teaching classmates in upper secondary school, to being a teaching assistant at university—assisting others in reaching their goals has brought me immense joy.Being a software engineer in the tech industry has been incredibly rewarding. Writing software that drastically reduced manual annotation effort has been exciting. Implementing features requested by colleagues and improving UI for internal tools has been stimulating. Mentoring teammates has been inspiring.I have always maintained a growth mindset and embraced challenges. Although my primary focus is on automating processes and empowering teams using my systems programming and backend expertise, I continuously seek out new learning opportunities to remain at the forefront of technology and excel as a software engineer. This mindset has enabled me to drive impactful improvements, such as guiding the rewrite of core internal systems in Rust, improving our platform infrastructure to support entirely new categories of cloud-stored data, and enhancing our data collection software to seamlessly integrate with next-generation sensors. These contributions have not only strengthened our technological foundation but also expanded our ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.I thrive on meeting new people and hearing diverse perspectives.
