I am a customer-focused executive with a proven record of driving growth through recurring service revenue while maintaining industry-leading customer retention. I accomplish this through my ability to hire, build, and retain unmatched, high-performance teams through a culture that prioritizes collaboration and employee development. I am currently in my third engagement with a private equity firm, experience that gives me a leverageable depth of understanding for how PE-ownership can best help organizations develop and grow. Currently, I serve as President & CEO of Conditioned Air, a large, regional HVAC company on the precipice of its next stage of growth. I look forward providing leadership to move the company into the future by driving recurring service revenue and scaling operations, all while building on an established customer service tradition of respect, integrity and safety. Prior to Conditioned Air, I spent nearly two decades founding and leading Envera Systems, a market-leading security and software technology company with $30M+ ARR and 400 employees. Envera Systems provided automated, tech-enabled security for 600+ homeowners associations and gated communities. We enjoyed a consistent 20% growth rate over 18 years and boasted a 65% gross margin at the end of my tenure. Some of my major accomplishments at Envera Systems included: I led the company through 2 PE-owner partnerships and successful exits by driving investment banking led sales processes involving institutional debt and equity. I fostered a 10-year partnership with a senior debt provider, beginning with a $10M facility and growing the relationship to $50M. I expanded the gross margin of our business from 35% to 65% by increasing automation from 0 to 50%, unlocking new operating efficiencies through proprietary products. I sustained a 10+ year average tenure amongst my direct reports, with my first 5 hires still employed at the company at the end of my 18-year tenure. These accomplishments are a credit to my results-driven personality and the passion I’m able to inspire in my long-tenured, committed teams.
