About Addis Parris

I am a career educator who has taken my skills and passions abroad in the past few years. After more than 12 years of teaching, I am interested in exploring how I can impact the field from outside of the classroom setting. My experiences have ranged from in classroom, administration, and management/HR roles to support hiring and retention efforts. I have educated students and adults in various settings including: public school districts, independent schools, private companies, and individual private contracts in Massachusetts, New York, Africa and South America. I teach, tutor and support students from primary to university in whole class, small group and individual settings and have worked to collaborate with and coach preservice teachers and my own colleagues. My priorities will always be to support the most marginalized members of any community and I name that unambiguously.
