About Addison Perry

After leaving secondary education and finding my feet I have spent many years farming and farm contracting, during this time I developed a great love for machinery a good understanding of basic mechanics and maintenance and a greater understanding of getting a job done no matter what, after this lifestyle didn’t suit with family commitments as I have aged I went into the utility sector, primarily telecommunications, here I spent 3 years driving various self propelled moleploughs, ploughing thousands of metres in with mainly a Vermeer RTX1250, later running a small team of men. This job taught me a great deal about buried services and how to avoid damaging them also repairing where possible. Other duties included driving diggers and a lorry being the main machinery haulier.I later moved on to driving a 4+4 lorry and drag for a local civil engineering company where I also cover on machinery such as diggers, tele-handlers, dumpers and occasionally dump trucks. This employment has put my practical skills in a more official place by up skilling me with proper certification. I spend most of my time moving machinery and associated tools to keep jobs running smoothly between multiple sites across the southwest.
