About Adegeye Lucky

With over 5 years of work experience in the electrical and electronics engineering field, I am a passionate and skilled electronic technician who specializes in logging while drilling and Measuring while drilling (LWD/MWD) tools. I am currently working at SLB, one of the world's leading providers of technology and services to the energy industry. My mission is to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of the LWD/MWD tools that are essential for drilling operations and reservoir evaluation. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities that come with working in a dynamic and innovative environment, and I strive to deliver high-quality results that meet or exceed the expectations of my clients and stakeholders. I value teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team from my previous roles and education background. In my current role as an electronic technician at SLB, I am responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and failure analysis of LWD tools. I follow the standard work instructions (SWI) and use the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track the tool and PCB life, prevent failure from aging components, and increase the turnaround time and availability of the tools for deployment to rig sites. I also carry out various types of calibration on theLWD/MWD tools, such as air calibration and plateau calibration, to ensure a suitable operating range for the tools. Additionally, I perform failure investigation and root cause analysis using Toolscope, a software that allows me to access and analyze the data from the tools. Some of the skills that I use and apply in my daily work include onboard diagnostics (OBD 11), electrical and electronics instrumentation, electrical and electronics measurement, basic pneumatics instrumentation, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices. I have also obtained two relevant certifications: the EHS certification issued by the World Safety Organization and the Field Production Operator (Process Technician) certification issued by Citech Engineering.
