About Adel Almajed

As a Marine Surveyor at American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), I apply my expertise in liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessels to ensure the safety and quality of new construction and after-construction surveys. I have over two years of experience in this role, working with leading shipbuilders such as HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (DH HHI) and overseeing various types of vessels, including LPG, VLEC, VLCC, Oil, and Container Carriers. Before joining ABS, I worked as a Maintenance Engineer and a Procurement Engineer at Zamil Offshore Services Company, where I gained valuable skills in operations management, customer relationship management (CRM), and project management. I am also a member of the Saudi Council of Engineers. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Projects Management from Everyone's Smart University. My goal is to continue learning and growing as a marine surveyor and to contribute to the advancement and innovation of the maritime industry.
