Current employer Saudi Post | SPL - I have appointed as GM Risk Management with a mandate to Stablish, Build and Operate the Risk General Department from scratch where it was not existed at that point of time when I joined SPL. within Risk GD we have created three reported departments which are “Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity and Cybersecurity”. Developing all needed frameworks, policies, processes, leading practices and standards for each of the reported department. Number of projects/engagements that I have been part of the execution team during my work with EY; General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) Engaged on ISO 27001 Gap Assessment for General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT). To understand the information security process and reviewing all policies and procedure to identify the gaps and developing a roadmap to treat all gaps to be ISO certified. Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, Internal Audit - 2018 During this project, Adel performed a detailed IT and security audit for different core and enterprise systems including but not limited to Active Directory, ERP and Document Management System. Saudi Telecom Company (STC) – 2015, 2017 and 2018 Adel has been engaged in a leading Saudi telecom company in the IT Audit Project (FAIT). Covering more than 22 systems for IT and Network based on ITGCs controls; Change Management, Logical Access, Information Security and other controls. IT Audit (FAIT) Performed review of information technology General controls (ITGC) for various clients from different industries to provide support to financial auditors in obtaining reasonable assurance over IT general controls. Al Rajhi Bank – 2016 Adel was engage on one of the Leading Islamic bank in Saudi Arabia (Al Rajhi) to Manage the remediation of SAMA audit findings. Review and validate the action plan to remediate findings. Also to manage the remediation progress. Saudi Ministry of Interior & Elm – 2015 Engaged in a transformation project for major government body in Saudi Arabia (MOI - Elm) Which incorporated data collection and analysis, maturity assessment and initiatives & improvement roadmaps development. Saudi Telecom Company (STC) – 2014 Adel has been engaged with a leading STC in the Billing Review Project, he worked on both streams of the project, which are the Quality Management. Furthermore, he was part of updating and developing the processes and the procedures related to the Billing System Practice.
