About Adela Lipari

I am currently studying Human Resources Management at Kansas State University's College of Business. I have completed a minor in Spanish, and I received the seal of biliteracy. I am pursuing a minor in English as well as a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging certification. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2027. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend Law School to get my Juris Doctorate, and go on to practice Employment or Estate Planning law. I am passionate about leading for and with others, striving to achieve personal excellence, and learning more about the unique offerings of our world. My experience consists of a summer spent as an HR intern for JE Dunn Construction, where I worked with Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Total Rewards and L&D. I spent time organizing data from performance reviews, building spreadsheets in Excel, creating slide decks and infographics in PowerPoint, and conducting interviews to improve training workshops. I have previously worked as a legal intern with a criminal defense attorney, and spent three summers working as a cashier in sporting goods retail. In terms of my involvement on campus, I am a Menard Family Scholar through the College of Business, the president of SHRM at K-State, a Pre-Law Ambassador, a University Honors Program student, and an active member of Women in Business. I have previously held positions in Quest Freshman Honorary and Silverkey Sophomore Honorary, both leadership and service-based cohorts. My accrual of a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for Human Resources Management in combination with a Spanish Minor and a Minor in English, with emphasis on writing, will assist me in studying law and practicing some form of Corporate or Employment law, possibly in Estate Planning, or as In-House Counsel. I am interested in personal wealth management and investing.
