Dott.ssa in Biologia Molecolare e Cellulare, Master universitario di 1° livello in Igiene industriale, prevenzione e sicurezza con abilitazione al ruolo di RSPP. During my experience at the pH laboratories of the TÜV SÜD group, I was actively involved in the development and validation of analytical methods for the biocompatibility assessment of medical devices in accordance with ISO 10993, with a particular focus on in vitro genotoxicity testing. After this validation step, we obtained within 6 moths the ISO 17025 certification followed by the GLP compliance after 2 years. This has allowed the Company to become part of the market for testing biocompatibility of medical devices. Now I manage both the microbiological and biocompatibility testing divisions and all the monitoring, training and development activities. I’m also appointed laboratory safety representative, fire safety officer, and certified first aid responder. In addition to my technical responsibilities, I have been appointed to lead two strategic global projects: the implementation of a new LIMS and the global harmonization of all methods within the group, in collaboration with other global laboratories. Recently, I was selected by the global leadership to participate in the Future Expertise Development Program at RWTH Business School in Munich, a course aimed at fostering future leaders in science-driven industries.
