About Adele Lewis

I have a long history in the accommodation industry. It started as a family affair, as my parents owned and operated a small motel and B&B in New Zealand. After studying and extensive travel, I moved to Australia and worked in various roles within the hospitality industry. I redirected my career path and became involved with the inbound call centre industry, as a business analyst and gained invaluable experience in team training, process improvement and auditing. I moved my focus back to hospitality and accepted a Resort Management role in Fiji. After two years (and seeing an eye for opportunity) I opened a relief management business in Fiji, my clients included some of the most prestigious properties in Fiji. With a Fijian Coup and 5 years in Fiji 'under the belt', I headed back to Australia and put all my experience to work for Star Ratings Australia (formally Tourism) conducting Star Rating Assessments for properties all over Australia. I wanted to get back in to the thick of operations in Hospitality and re-started this journey as a reservations Manager at Hilton Cairns, before taking on the Village Manager in Queensland Bowen Basin and extending my property management skills with Quest Hotels. I understand what it means to 'take time off' and recharge your batteries, and knowing you can leave your business in capable hands can make all the difference for your holiday and peace of mind. I still love to travel whenever the chance presents and is up to 33 countries and counting.
