About Adeline Rivera

I have over 12 years of experience as an Auditing/Education Coder in the health insurance industry for providers and provider groups. In my current position as MRA Coding Educator, I am a subject matter expert for proper risk adjustment coding and CMS data validation. I help identify opportunities to improve provider documentation, coding and billing by creating education plans tailored to their needs. I utilize internal medical data and extensive knowledge of claims to arrange educational sessions with providers, staff and/or MSOs to deliver education towards quality of care, documentation improvements and missed opportunities. I use creativity skills to communicate effectively through presentations which has proven to be an effective method of communication for providers to attain and implement correct practices in documentation and coding. I believe my auditing and coding skills make me an asset as well as my experience and qualifications.
