About Adeline Wee

Adeline is a qualified architect with 17 years experience in award winning architectural practices. She joined Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners in 2007 as a post RIBA Part 1 year out during her Master’s course at The Bartlett School of Architecture UCL London. Then rejoining in 2014, as a qualified ARB architect with a key role on the team, started working on The Centre Buildings Redevelopment for the London School of Economics - a sustainable BREEAM Outstanding landmark academic building in the heart of the school's Aldwych campus and located within the Strand Conservation Area. From RIBA Stage 1 to 5 Adeline remained client side managing key user group and stakeholder consultations with the university, design coordination and product specification. Adeline is currently leading the Interior Fit Out design and delivery on Hammersmith & Fulham Civic Campus, specifically the refurbishment and extension of the existing Town Hall building. She brings her knowledge of materials and construction strategy as tools for designing flexible spaces and implementing inclusive design principles. Specification and careful attention to detailing are strengths that Adeline brings to projects. Prior to joining RSHP, Adeline worked with dRMM on other notable projects. She lead the Interior Fit out on Trafalgar Place, a Stirling Prize-shortlisted mixed use project, delivered as part of the Heygate Estate regeneration in Elephant and Castle London and was also a key team member on Festival House on Blackpool’s seafront, a RIBA Award-winning civic scheme constructed out of cross laminated timber. In addition to her architectural work, she contributes to both RSHP’s Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion Groups, leading diversity initiatives across the office. She is a Part 1 and Part 3 in-house mentor, and takes part in education programmes such as Open City Accelerate for young people between the age of 16 to 18 years old. As of 2021, she is a Design Leader on the Design Think Tank first year module for the London School of Architecture. When not peddling about on her folding bicycle Adeline occasionally may be seen whizzing around town in her vintage Mini Cooper.
