Dr. Adeola Abdulateef Elega is an author and academic with a passion for research, teaching, and writing. He is currently a faculty member at Nile University in Abuja, Nigeria, where he teaches and conducts research in the Department of Mass Communication. Dr. Elega earned his Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Kogi State University, before obtaining his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Communication and Media Studies from Eastern Mediterranean University, Northern Cyprus. Throughout his academic journey, he demonstrated a keen interest in communication and media, particularly in the areas of emerging media, journalism, Interpersonal Communication and intercultural communication. As an author, Dr Elega has published extensively in reputable communication and media related academic journals such as International journal of communication, environmental communication, journalism practice, public relations review, Online Journal of Communication and Media Technologies and African Journalism Studies. He has also contributed to edited volumes in his field. His publications have earned him recognition, and he has presented his research findings at numerous conferences in Cyprus and United Arab Emirates. Dr Elega is also a dedicated teacher who is passionate about helping his students succeed. He is also a mentor with a MSC preparation mentorship group where he mentors school leavers about what they need to do to prepare for graduate programs. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr Elega is a creative and has organized several works exhibitions with his students. He is committed to telling African studies through various multimedia elements.
