About Adeola Adebari

With almost 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry, Adeola is a renowned Petroleum Engineer with expertise covering reservoir management, reservoir simulation, production optimization and upstream project economic evaluation. He uses both reservoir management and production optimization techniques to generate candidate wells for short term opportunities, rigless workovers, sidetrack and infil-drill potentials, prepare robust well and reservoir surveillance plan for data gathering, and also enjoys to work in a multi-disciplinary team to achieve maximum hydrocarbon recovery of given assets. He started his career with Department of Petroleum Resources in 2002 as an NYSC member before joining Conoil in 2003 where he spent four years. He later joined Dubai Petroleum in 2008. In 2010, Adeola pioneered a revolution in temperature and noise logging technologies in Nigeria in partnership with TGT Oil and Gas Dubai technologies and Degeconek Nigeria. He later joined Boaz Integrated Energy in 2013 (a company he founded) where he currently works. He has co-authored a technical paper titled,"Effect of Salinity Changes of Injected Water on Water-flooding Performance in Carbonate Reservoirs". Some of the Projects executed: •ICD Completion Design Study for horizontal wells in Ibigwe field. •Reservoir Evaluation and production optimization of Olomoro-Oleh field (OML 30), which include candidate wells selection for "quick win opportunities" and rigless interventions •Waterflood Optimization/Performance Study of Fateh Field. •Technical Evaluation of OML 30, 34, 42 and 125 Assets on behalf financial institutions. •Development of Gas Business Plan for NNPC. The project involved reviewing over 700 oil and gas fields in the Niger-Delta with the aim to assess gas reserves and gas production potential. •Design of a Tracer Program for understanding the fracture network in Ilam field. Adeola is a graduate of Heriot Watt University and Obafemi Awolowo University.
