During the period 2001 to 2019, Adi continued to upskill himself with various programmes such as Senior Management Development Programme and Management Development Programme at the University of Pretoria; Programme in E-Marketing at Unisa; and RE5 Regulatory Examination at Moonstone. Additionally, Adi furthered his educational pursuits by successfully completing his Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the prestigious Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) Graduate School in July 2023. Career HistoryAdi is employed as an Internal Communication Specialist at the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), having joined the organisation in February 2009. Prior to this role, he worked as a Senior Communication Officer for the PIC. Before the PIC, Adi lectured at ICESA from August 2008 – December 2008, and did vacation work as a Junior Bookkeeper for Lakhi & Co Chartered Accountants S.A. on a requirement basis.NobilitiesAdi is responsible for:Development, execution and review of the PIC’s internal communication strategy. He also assists with the maintenance of PIC’s digital platforms in the form of the corporate website, intranet and LinkedIn account.Coordinating the important responsibility to assemble content, edit, design and publish the institution’s Integrated Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements on an annual basis, which is a statutory requirement. This requires regular interactions with the Executive of Board of Directors of the PIC. Managing external service providers in the production process, Adi continues to demonstrate his management skills which contribute to substantial cost savings for the company. Acknowledgement for the quality of the work on the Annual Report came when the PIC received an award for Best Responsible Investor Report by an Asset Manager at the Responsible Investor Awards held in London.
