Adi Wallner is an experienced International Manager with Expertise as Country Management and in Business Development emphasis on change management, implementing suitable market approach strategies, portfolio management, increasing cost efficiency and building motivated teams. Having worked as Global Product Manager for Agrolinz in Austria from 1986-1994, as Marketing Manager for Sandoz in Germany from 1994-1996, as Marketing Specialist for Dow Agro in Germany and as Project Success Leader Europe/Market Development Manager Europe and Pacific in Switzerland from he moved to BASF as country manager Agro in Austria 2002-2008 and for BASF in Praha as Marketing Specialist Specialty Crops for Central Europe (2009-2012), Head of Facility Management for BASF Central Europe from 2013 to 2019 and country manager with strategic and operativ responsibility for the overall BASF portfolio from 2016-2019. Adi was restructuring organizations, developing and implementing market approach strategies resulting in growth for the company in a sustainable way. As head of Agro in Austria he was able to apply his skills and experience in a more mature market, focusing on improving profitability and increasing the BASF market share. After a 4 years delegation period to Czech Republic, where he managed and doubled sales and market share of Specialty crops portfolio for Central Europe (incl. Turkey) he returned to Vienna and become the Head of Facility Management and Real Estate, responsible for all BASF sites in Central Europe. From 2016 he was Country Manager for BASF in Austria and in this role responsible for key local customer management and disciplinary head for all sales representatives in Austria. By the end of 2019 Adi leaved BASF and moved to Lithos Crop Protect GmbH, where he he started in 2020 as Business Development Manager in Ennsdorf, Lower Austria. Together with a small team we are supporting the registration and development for the successful launch of our new product Lithos CornProtect. We are looking for a collaboration with industry distribution partners for the relevant markets in Europe and outside. Lithos CornProtect is a non-retrievable and first sprayable pheromon to control diabrotica virgifera virgifera (WCR), a new challenging pathogen that can cause high yield damages and losses for corn farmers. Lithos CornProtect, using mating disruption to control WCR, the female pheromone called pherolit acts as biological “contraceptive” and Zeolith as formulation carrier delivers season long spread.
